SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION

  • Sentinel Dual can be installed as a tower or in 19-inch rack cabinets, by simply removing and turning the display panel;

  • Low noise level (<40 dBA): for installation in any environment, thanks to its inverter with high switching frequency and the digitally controlled PWM ventilation depending on the applied load;

  • Guaranteed characteristics up to 40 ° C (components are designed for high temperatures and therefore undergo less stress in the presence of ordinary temperatures);

  • On Sentinel Dual models, the output receptacles can be programmed to disconnect less critical loads during power outages (EnergyShare function).

REDUCED OPERATING COSTS

The UPS is very flexible and easy to configure. Functions are programmable from software or manually through the front panel. Sentinel Dual can be configured in the following operating modes:

  • ON LINE: maximum protection of the load and quality of the waveform of the output voltage;

  • ECO mode: to increase efficiency (up to 98%), it allows selection of LINE INTERACTIVE technology;

  • SMART ACTIVE: the UPS decides autonomously the operating mode depending on the quality of the mains power supply;

  • STANDBY OFF: the UPS can be selected to operate only in the event of a network failure (emergency mode only);

  • Frequency converter operation (50 or 60 Hz).

HIGH QUALITY OF THE OUTPUT VOLTAGE

  • Even with non-linear loads (IT loads with crest factor up to 3: 1);

  • High short-circuit current on bypass;

  • High overload capacity: 150% per inverter (even in the event of a grid failure);

  • Filtered, stabilized and reliable voltage: ON LINE double conversion technology (VFI according to EN62040-3) with filters for the suppression of atmospheric disturbances;

  • Power factor correction: UPS input power factor close to 1 and sinusoidal current absorption.

HIGH BATTERY RELIABILITY

  • Automatic and manual battery test;

  • Batteries can be replaced by the user, without the need to stop the device and without interrupting the charge (Hot Swap);

  • Unlimited extendable autonomy using dedicated battery cabinets.

OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

  • The output voltage can be selected by software (220/230/240 V);

  • Auto-restart on restoration of the mains (programmable by software);

  • STANDBY ON bypass: when the machine is off, it is automatically prepared for operation by the bypass and with the batteries charged;

  • Shutdown for minimum load;

  • Battery discharge warning;

  • Start-up delay;

  • Total control by microprocessor;

  • Automatic bypass without interruption;

  • States, measurements, alarms available on standard backlit screen;

  • UPS firmware update via computer;

  • Input protection by resettable thermal switch (versions up to 1500 VA);

  • Standard power return protection: to prevent energy returns to the network;

  • Manual switching to bypass.
